Once upon a time Dave Grohl was asked about the secret to writing hits to which he quite eloquently replied , "Don't bore us, get to the chorus!".Machinegun Tongues heard this quote many years later and replied, "No worries Davo. Give us a room, 2 weeks, a couple of 6 packs and we'll have a whole, hard hitting bunch of em for ya!" And so it came to pass…Born out of the need to bring the spirit of rock n roll back to the stages and with a nod to the legendary Aussie bands that came before, Machinegun Tongues combine the 2 elements that make rock great - Bangin riffs and catchy as f*#k, sing-a-long choruses.Featuring some old, salty rock dawgs that have helped shape not only the Melbourne, but Australian music scene in recent times - Stacey Gray (Trial Kennedy, Ecca Vandal), Nick Adams & Zane Rosanoski (Mammal rhythm section from hell!), Jordan Nagle (Jericco) and featuring new heir to the Bon Scott throne, a man known only as "Roadsaw". These 5 lads are the real deal.2017 saw the band unleash their high energy live show upon Melbourne stages including iconic venues such as Cherry Bar, Ding Dong Lounge and The Bendigo to name a few. It also saw the band record their debut album at The Alamo with debut single “Betty” to be launched in December. And with the torch of all things rock'n'roll now firmly in their grasp they are looking to charge into 2018 and tear the place apart!“Machinegun Tongues came out swinging.
