RUST is a new Band born in 2016 from the union of experienced musicians : Vocalist Matt Bernardi (Purplesnake), guitarists Stefano Galleano and Andrea Raffaele (Snake, Rock.it), bassist Steve Vawamas (Athlantis, Mastercastle) and drummer Alessio Spallarossa (Sadist). The band Members decided to put together their previous experiences and focus their energy in making a new album which would represent their musical origins. They mix influences from bands like Gotthard, Dio, Whitesnake with a deep research of a personal sound. Their first album is due to be recorded at Music Art Rapallo with Pier Gonella and will be released next November with Diamonds Productions.

Diamonds Prod is proud to announce that hard rockers RUXT have completed the recordings for their third album, entitled “Back to the origins”, tentatively due for January 2019.Furthermore the band has announced their new drummer, Alessandro “Attila” Fanelli.A little more than a year after the splendid "Running Out Of Time", the creative vein of the Ligurian Ruxt continues unabated. If "Behind The Masquerade" had set a solid foundation and the subsequent "Running Out Of Time" had significantly improved the songwriting skills of the five piece, this "Back To The Origins" is the album of the definitive consecration. Compared to the work of 2017 the training undergoes a single change, with the rotation behind the skins between the new entry Alessandro Fanelli and Alessio Spallarossa. Choice dictated by Alessio's too many commitments that did not allow him to dedicate the right time to this project. For his part, Alexander does not regret his predecessor, demonstrating all its value.The exceptional singer Matt Bernardi (true heir of the Coverdale / Jorn school), the pair of ax man formed by Stefano Galleano (mastermind of the group) and Andrea Raffaele and the very talented Steve Vawamas on bass are still in the game. Winning training from the first song "Here And Now" (first single, released some time ago and embellished with a great video clip) where the vocal lines are interwoven to perfection in a rock song of high impact. This would be enough to be impressed by the Ruxt, but "I Will Find The Way", with its 70's charge seems to come straight out of the immense "Trouble" Whitesnake. Here Matt gives us a prodigious performance, making his registers now forgotten by David Coverdale.When the sound is modernized by turning to the sonarities brought to success by Jorn Lande, pieces like "All You Got" materialize, starting from a spectacular riff, evolving into a heavy rock ride, making the rhythmical section fully appreciate. Or the heavy and sometimes dark "River Of Love", where in addition to the keyboards (placed in the foreground), Stefano's excellent solo is noted. High quality also the subsequent "Be What You Are" (second single) and "Train Of Life" where is taken their classic sound, cleverly used to create refrain and melodies always enthralling and never dull. Then there is "Another Day Without Your Soul", a power ballad of immense pathos, where Matt is the author of a creepy interpretation, a passage certainly to be counted among the most beautiful written by the combo."Come Back To Life" and "Remember The Promise You Made" keep the cd on very high standards, giving riffs, emotions and melodies of first choice. The evocative "Tonight We Dine In Hell", with its veiled tribute to Ronnie James Dio, invests us like a river in flood, before "Back To The Origins" ends with the usual burst of adrenaline."Back To The Origins" is a work where all the passion, the heart and the inspiration of the Ligurian group trudate. Honest, complete and without any presumption, it is rightfully one of the best works of 2019. Do it yourselves, crush play and be conquered by the sounds of the Ruxt, you will not be able to remove it from the stereo.
