The HAMEN band project came out in 2013, conceived by singer Monica Possel, vocalist and group leader, who dreamed of an authorial work focused on the Heavy Metal Symphony. The original lineup was attended by Gean Carlos Souza (bass), Cadu Puccini (guitar), Thiago Mello (drums), Alexandre Lamin (guitar) and Alessandra Nunes (keyboards).The first production of the group was the single "Altar", released in December 2014. The song won a clip and became the main track of the EP of the same name, released in April 2015, with four tracks. The work was produced by bassist Gean Carlos, in the studio Traces. "Winter", "Last Doubt" and "Beautiful Garden" are the tracks that complete the material, guided by the Symphonic Metal with Progressive pinches.The EP was released on a live show at Let It Be Pub in Joinville (SC), with the opening of Doomsday Hymn (PR) and Sebastian (SC). The performance featured a scenic performance by vocalist Monica Possel, who used the technology of projection in video mapping in the costumes. The debut work gained publicity in the press and reverberated with good acceptance by the public. In December of 2015, the band stepped for the first time in the stages of Curitiba (PR), after being invited to participate in the festival Ladies of Metal, in the Golgotha Community.In February 2016, HAMEN reached international notoriety with the song "Last Doubt", a track selected to be part of the collection "Fear Candy - Latin America", included in the 268 edition of the English magazine Terrorizer, one of the main publications in the world dedicated to the Metal fans. Also in the same year, the band integrated the programming of the 4th International Convention of Tattoo of Joinville, with show in the Complex of the Expoville.At the end of 2016, the group began a new phase, taking the first steps to launch the first full album. A partnership was closed with bassist Matheus Maia (formerly Perpetual Legacy) to stay ahead of the project's production. In addition to the announcement of a new album, the beginning of 2017 was marked by internal changes in the formation. Guitarist Alexandre Lamin, drummer Gleybson Dias and keyboardist Alessandra Nunes decide to leave the band to prioritize personal activities and projects.With the changes, HAMEN followed the projects with only two original members on staff: Monica on vocals and piano, and Cadu on guitars. In the new stage, in addition to the additions of Matheus in bass and musical production and the ex-Perpetual Legacy, Gabriel Pedroso, on drums, began the production and recording of the band's debut. Untitled 'Unreflected Mirror', the album carries the intention of being more focused on the symphonic sound, valuing orchestral elements and nuances, without leaving aside aspects such as weight, melody and technique.

With the release of CD “Unreflected Mirror”, the Hamen – Symphonic Metal band from Brazil, begins a new musical phase marked by a symphonic sound that values orchestral elements and nuances without leaving aside aspects such as heavy, melody and technique present in the productions which made it one of the most prominent groups in the Brazilian metal scenario.The new album has the proposal to present itself as a soundtrack, where fans are invited to participate in the musical and imagery experience. "We propose that listeners feel inside of a movie or a series by means 12 episodes (tracks), that explain the emotional evolution of characters who narrate the trajectory of the CD.According to Hamen vocalist and founding, Monica Possel, the musical journey becomes evident in the first single released "Lost Feelings (Invasive Feelings Part II)", that involves the listeners to the intimal stroll to the good music.Released by MS Metal Records, with the Voice Music as the physical distributor and with CD-Baby in digital, the new album begins the new cycle of the band. For the music producer and bassist of HAMEN, Matheus Maia, the spirit of this new phase synthesized at the track "A New Beginning". It represents the evolution of the initial proposal of the band, showing that HAMEN has reached another level in the Symphonic Metal".The show's CD release of the band formed by Monica Possel on vocals, Cadu Puccini on guitars, Matheus Maia on bass and Gabriel Pedroso on drums, should happen at the beginning of the next year, but still without the confirmed date. With the start of the market, HAMEN studies the possibility of a tour in Brazil and Europe. They will be scenes from a rising carrier that counts with talent and musical innovation to have a happy ending.
