Along with other bafflingly coarse titles such as “The Best Blowjob In History” and “Show Your Boobies”. Fortunately, once the simple riffs and lock step rhythm section get rolling you’ll forget all about the song titles. Songs such as “Hellhounds” and “Ride The Rockin’ Horse” have the infectious swagger and groove that hook a listener with ease.Overdrivers describe their sound as authentic Hard Rock and profess a love for the simplicity of Australian Rock. They further explain that “with a rhythm guitarist who plays just 5 chords and a bassist who can only play just ‘Mi’ or ‘La’, it’s hard to make any form of complicated music!” Simplicity abounds on She’s On Her Period. Once you get past the squeaky and incomprehensible vocals, it’s also an enjoyable album. Crack a Foster’s and enjoy.
