Atlanta rock 'n' rollers BITERS have signed a worldwide deal with Earache Records.Recalling the early spirit and danger of rabble-rousing rock heroes, BITERS have faithfully built upon their punk heritage and their love of '70s rock to deliver music that ignites, incites and excites in equal measure.Possessing a heart full of rock 'n' roll, the band plays foot-stomping, fist-pumping, spit-on-the-floor anthems possessed of a fighting spirit that refuses to give in.Band leader Tuk explains the band's outlook: "Corporate pop culture and fairweather fads is just something I'm not interested in. I still choose to play rock ‘n' roll, because I still believe in rock 'n' roll."Earache's Dan Tobin comments: "BITERS have lit a fire under us here at Earache. The Biters released their debut album ‘Electric Blood’ in 2015 and I was impressed, although the album did tail off with a few filler tunes. Biters are back with album number two and they have really tapped into their love of 70′s rock music, aided by songwriter/producer Scott Stevens (who has worked with the likes of the Struts and Shinedown amongst others) on the massive stomping beast that is ‘Stone Cold Love’. The song has a T.Rex sound from the backbeat through to the vocals of Tuk, making for a song you want to keep playing over and over.They have other ear candy in their arsenal with the more modern sounding rock of ‘Let It Roll’, again a radio hit is ever there was one. Interesting musical diversion on ‘Goin’ Back To Georgia’ where the band adopt a country rock feel, not unlike something Blackberry Smoke would do, a band the Biters have recently toured supporting.Some great power pop on display too like ‘Gypsy Rise’, which gives fellow 70′s power pop worshippers Smash Fashion a run for their money. Not quite ‘all killer, no filler’ though as ‘Vulture City’ fails to impress with so many strong songs around it, but overall a stronger set of songs than on their debut album.Biters bite back with album number two and one full of glorious 70′s flavoured glam/hard rock.
