A Sound of Thunder is a Washington DC based, female fronted heavy metal band. Their four piece band consists of Josh Schwartz on guitar, Nina Osegueda on vocals, Jesse Keen on bass, and Chris Haren on drums. A Sound of Thunder conquers metal realms ranging from '70s blues-based proto-metal a la Black Sabbath and early Judas Priest, to triumphant modern power metal a la Hammerfall and Primal Fear. Soaring vocals, incendiary instrumentals, and classic songs combine to form an unrelenting, unapologetic slab of metal to stand the test of time.

East Coast traditional metallers, A Sound of Thunder launched their newest Kickstarter campaign today in support of their long-awaited covers album, Who Do You Think We Are?. The quartet began the project back during the recording of their 2014 album, The Lesser Key of Solomon and continued working on it around the recording and release of last year’s Tales from the Deadside. The new campaign will also help fund a new animated video for the character of Udoroth who first appeared on the Lesser Key of Solomon album. The video for the track, “Udoroth” has already received over 314,000 hits. Fans have asked for more, and the band is geared up to answer the call.
