Drunken Angels were founded back in early 1995. Their music has transitioned through several genres, starting at punk in the early days to Heavy Metal and Rock in the later years.The bands slogan is “Not only music, that’s a view of life” and of course, for those who has ever been to a gig back in the late 90ties or early 00 years, you already know what’s meant by that.In 2004, following an incident involving multiple farmyard animals the “Drunken Angels” were asked kindly by concerned farmers to retire and were later sectioned at the Viennese sanatorium called “Kalksburg”.Still alive and well they were allowed occasional day trips to venues to celebrate a little music therapy with fans and friends. At one of those trips the band fixed a deal with a record label and gave them a dusty chest with old tapes filled with recordings.And so goes the legend in Vienna’s underground scene.12 songs freed from the chains of time, remastered and including two live bootleg tracks as a special bonus.Available digital and worldwide for the very first time.Have fun on this journey back in time.
