After the release, ADX stops its collaboration with Noise and was disbanded in 1992.In 1998, ADX was reformed for some shows in France, and 8 months later, the band entered at "Studio Du Val" to record a new album entitled "Résurrection". Then the band stops all its activities. The band was back after 7 years with a reformation show at Montereau in October 2006. The next show, on 7 January 2007 at "La Locomotive" (Paris) marks the 25th anniversary of the band. Then , in 2008, the band releases a new album, entitled "Division Blindée". Album:

ADX is one of the most legendary and well-known French Heavy Metal bands. A true legend of Heavy Speed Metal. They ruled the stage during the 80s and after their reunion they performed live in highly acclaimed festivals from Keep It True (Germany) to HellFest (France) and more.La Terreur is now re-released including additional bonus tracks, for all those who were looking for their old albums.A single year after ADX's lightning fast debut released they're already striking back for more and continuing on with their excellent formula for a great follow up. While slightly different compared to their debut, this release is still speed metal in its purest form and definitely couldn't be mistaken for any other band besides ADX.Again, just like all of ADX's releases vocalist Phil proudly salutes his homeland and the lyrics are all in French. Even if I don't know what they're saying, the music here is still good enough to keep me entertained throughout and Phil's great vocals and performance flow very well with the band. While there are some changes here when compared to their debut, there's also a handful of improvements. The biggest one being the superior production. While still pretty raw compared to a lot of other bands at the time, its much clearer than Exécution and doesn't sound nearly as drowned out. Style and sound wise however when compared to Exécution it seems like they wanted to go for something a little more epic here, more majestic with more substance. Simply put, this album isn't quite as fast and furious as the debut was. Instead there seems to more of a melodic focus in the rhythm's and even within the solo's. This isn't exactly a bad thing but because of this I personally found this album to be a little harder to get into than the previous one. Its just one of those albums you have to give a few extra spins to let it grow on you. Then you realize there's no regrets.Regardless, for the most part this is still something you could truly call 'speed metal'. There is a tremendous amount of focus on the quick riffing and that sharp guitar tone they displayed on their debut is still intact here. The rhythm's, riffs, harmonies, dual teamwork, and the solo's are all extremely technical and usually way over the normal speed limit. Though, there's even a handful of times where the bass becomes the total driving force and stands out quite a bit as well. You can expect a few bass solo's as well. Sadly while the production has improved most of the instruments and sound here, the drums actually sound weaker than before and they're usually more mid-paced than anything else (alright alright, for speed metal standards they're slower here). Still, hardly something you would call disappointing. The instrumental track Alesia is extremely impressive and just displays more virtuosity from these amazing musicians all around. Its an instrumental you -won't- find yourself skipping!Sadly this album is downright short just as their debut was and their next release wouldn't be much longer either. It'll be a quick spin but its nonstop and very consistent. Either way, its pretty hard to call ADX out and say they've ever released anything bad, because they just simply haven't.Perhaps ADX's debut could be compared to Agent Steel's Skeptics Apocalypse, you could then compare this album to Agent Steel's Unstoppable Force. This and Exécution are undeniably ADX, but with different flavors. It all comes down to being a matter of taste, but you really can't go wrong with this at all. Highly recommended to those who like to deluge themselves into speed metal territory. Essential to the genre.
