Phorceps was formed in 2007 by Pumuky, Kayser, Fernan and Boron as a cover band in Madrid, work that resulted in a first self-produced EP titled "NIEBLA" (2012), with Yáñez and Lasso on 6 strings, participating in the festivals Xmas Metal Fest (Ñu, Skyclad, Iron Savior, Astral Doors), La Emisión Pirata, and already with Kike in Gerinrock (Lujuria, Ciclón, Caskärrabias, PM)."VIENE A POR TI" sees the light in May 2015, EP recorded and mixed at Gonna Rec (Madrid) and mastered at Sage Audio (Nashville). Madrid, Córdoba, Alcalá de Henares, A Coruña, Lugo, Arganda del Rey, Castellón, Valencia, Alcorcón, Zaragoza, Sabadell, Alicante and Oviedo is the extensive promotional tour of "A POR TI TOUR" that closes in Guadalajara with Medina Azahara.The 3rd EP is released in May 2018. "EL FRUTO DE LA TRAICIÓN" repeats mixing and mastering. The "Gira de la Traición", with Dani (ex-Grass) on bass, passes through Salamanca, S.S. Reyes, Albacete, Getafe, Villalba, El Molar, Berzosa del Lozoya, Zaragoza and Madrid (together with the Germans Paragon), to culminate in January 2019 with the presentation in Copernico together with a lot of guests. Already with Martín (Estela Negra) on bass, they face the final part through Tarrasa, Sevilla la Nueva, Madrid, Coslada and Getafe.After COVID, which causes different line-up changes, they record their first LP "LICENSE TO THINK" in 2023. Phorceps are: Fernan (drums), Lasso (guitar), Lasso Jr (bass), Beltran (vocals) and Kike (guitar).

New album by the Madrid based Heavy Metal band Phorceps entitled "License To Think".An album, "License To Think", which has been released this November 10, 2023 and can be found on the main digital platforms."License To Think" is the fourth studio work of the band and the first full-length album. It has been recorded in different studios in Madrid and Toledo by: Fernan on drums, Lasso and Kike on guitars, David on bass and Beltran on vocals. The mixing has been in charge of Fernando Pérez, David Lasso and Beltrán Luque in the Al-Funduq studio in Toledo, as well as the mastering, which has also been in charge of Fernando Pérez. David Lasso and Fernando Pérez were in charge of the production, while the graphic artwork is the work of Beltrán Luque.
