The newly-formed "hybrid girls' band" sees former Disqualia and Destrose guitarist Narumi and Shinku-Horou drummer MIZUKI team up with voice actresses Maiko Nomura, who is singing under her own name for the first time, and Yuuki Hirose, who serves as the quartet's bassist.Lonesome_Blue's debut EP First Utterance will contain five tracks produced by Steve Jacobs and co-composed by LIGHT BRINGER keyboardist Mao, with lyrics written by LOVEBITES frontwoman asami. Parallel World features a guest appearance by Morfonica violinist Ayasa.

All-female Japanese j-rock/heavy metal act Lonesome_Blue has released their full-length debut Second To None via Victor Entertainment / JPU Records.The album follows their First Utterance EP, issued earlier in 2022. Check out a video for opening track, “Face The Fear”, below.The band’s lineup consists of Maiko Nomura on vocals, Narumi on guitar, Yuuki Hirose on bass, and Mizuki on drums. It features anime and video game voice actresses Maiko Nomura and Yuki Hirose on vocals and bass, it has top selling metal guitarist Narumi as part of the band, and includes hard-hitting drummer MIZUKI, who participated in a song used in Naruto: Shippuden.This unique formation, coupled with their progressive and international sound, has led to the band being tipped as one destined for success in the 2020s.All songs are sung in English, while some tracks contain parts with Japanese lyrics, like the album’s lead single. The CD edition will include printed English lyric translations and Romaji transliterations of all tracks that feature Japanese lyrics.
