Tyrants of Chaos is an original power rock/classic metal band hailing from the urban steppes of Western Canada. Fronted by Phil Sirias (Deathpledge) the band brings a modern edge to classic metal with his incredible range. Arik Wagner and Curtiss Vaselenak (Angel Beast) weave harmony lead guitars over in-your-face power riffs. The engine of the band is its monster rhythm section with Sean 'The Slayer' Simpson alternating medodic riffs with thundering bass and Ryan Dyck (Billy Vegas, Rex) providing a hail storm on drums. All five of these experienced road warriors sing and bring a melodic element that makes Tyrants of Chaos an extremely listenable audio experience - and an unforgettable live experience. Tyrants of Chaos released their debut original recording on compact disc and digitally on July 23, 2016.

More metal from Canada! Lethbridge, Alberta’s TYRANTS OF CHAOS will release their 3rd album next month titled Relentless Thirst For Power. I’m not big on every genre of metal (not in to the likes of Metallica, Anthrax, etc… the big 4.) But I do like checking out new Canadian rock! And there is plenty of killer riffs, solos, and tunes here to take interest in. This is a pure heavy album and fun listen, with some interesting lyrics. Lots of power, energy, and passion here. Fave cuts being “Indoctri-Nation”, “No Lives Matter”, and the blazing “Skull Crusher”.
