Hot Hell RooM was founded in September 2003 in Paris further to a long-standing friendship between:Alan Raoul : Bass guitar, Loïc Malassagne: Singer, Guitars and Stone: Drums. A first demo in self-production with 3 songs " Lies box " is released in October 2005 shortly followed by a few gigs during year 2006. In September 2007 the band starts to work on his official first album, whose recording will end up during the fall 2008.A simple click on the myspace of the famous American producer Beau Hill (Alice Cooper, Europe, Ratt, Winger, Warrant etc.…) will bring the chance for the band to be contacted by Beau, with an offer to have their album mastered (scheduled February 2009). In January 2010 Ludovic Rouix (Drums) joins the band. The song "You Don't Belong To Them" appears on the french compilation "Pavillon 666". Summer 2011, the band works on a new album "Kali Yuga Bonfire" and it will be recorded, mixed and mastered at Hybreed Studio (As They Burn, The Arrs, 7th Nemesis...) by Andrew G except drums at Roots Notes Studio by Pierre Houllier.In September, Shazybob (guitar) will strengthen the band for the gigs and future. December 2012, the track "Wistful Sunset" appears on the compilation "French Metal, La Colère Des Dieux" n°15. In May, the album "Kali Yuga Bonfire" is available on the french label Dooweet Records.July 2013, the first official video clip with the song "Humanity Will Never Change" produced by Eddy Norman is online. October 2013, Sebastien Luccioni is a second Guitarist of the band. In March 2015, the band as recorded the second album once again with the Producer Andrew G (At The Hybreed Studio).

The Anglican dislike of French speakers has pushed them into a kind of ostracism when it comes to heavy metal. Although there are a huge number of high-quality bands on the French scene, most fans can list very few compared to other nations more committed to the prevailing language. For this reason it is always interesting to hear news of a French band, especially if they sing in English, as is the case with Hot Hell Room.Hot Hell Room was born in 2003 in France. The band debuted in 2005 with a demo titled LIES BOX and has since released four albums, the first two independently: KALI YUGA BONFIRE (2013, ten years after its birth!) and ARCHITECT OF CHAOS (2016). In 2020 STASIS was published, with a great reception; and it is in the first half of April that his most recent work arrives: KINGDOM GENESIS (2022).The work is a direct line to its predecessor albums; we hear a combination of melodic rock with some touches of heavy metal in their introductions and structures. It is in the verses when the speed slows down and it seems that we listen to songs in slow motion (although it is only about sounds). However, this is not a bad feature as it allows you to fully appreciate the quality of the sound and the mix.It is difficult to highlight a highly technical passage, since most of his songs travel in the middle. What is surprising, and quite surprising, is the high level of its production and pronunciation. There is no way to suppose that we are dealing with a French group that has a hard time pronouncing and writing in English. His songs could be played on any radio station in the American suburbs without any problem.Hot Hell Room is a great example of perseverance as it took a full decade to release their first album; and then another 17 years for the group to be able to release another album with a certain level of anticipation and support. That effort is very well reflected in each of the pieces that make up KINGDOM GENESIS.
