Rebel was formed in june 2015 as a personal project of Javier Pastor (Wild, Thunderheart) with the goal of publishing some songs under lock and key for some years. The first 11 track LP is entitled "The Wild Hunt", influenced by traditional Heavy Metal and recorded by great musicians: Vasco Durán (Rancor), Rubén Santos (Tequila Sunrise) and Sergio González (Mamá Ladilla, Wild). "The Wild Hunt" was entirely produced at Traste Cero studios (Madrid) by Ángel "Choco" Muñoz.

Arrangements by Rebel and Ángel Muñoz.With a release by the underground distributor Underground Power, it's actually clear what to expect stylistically: unadulterated heavy metal, rooted knee-deep in the eighties. And that's exactly what they offer. REBEL have only been around for a year, and according to their own statements they are more a project of mastermind Javier Pastor (Wild, Thunderheart), who is also responsible for the great cover. He and his three fellow musicians are active in at least one other band, but they complement each other perfectly here. Stylistically, the Spaniards move not far from Skullfist, Stallion and Night Demon and of course pay homage to their NWOBHM roots, whereby the vocals might be a bit more charismatic.
