Bio:
Good Hard Rock and Rock N Roll band from Germany Frankenthal/Pfalz, founded in 2013.If you hear Burnerhead, you know where the journey is going. Clearly ambiguous lyrics and hard beats merge into a hot musical melange that leaves no eye dry. Welcome to porn-rock! The band was founded in mid-2013 and has since been working tirelessly on new repertoire ranging from punk-like riffs to hard rock-like grooves to twin lead guitar parts. The polyphonic vocal harmonies emphasize the fine arrangement of the pieces and round off it to a stylish overall package. In addition, the band allows the luxury of two lead singers and thus reaches a wonderfully wide range of timbres from sassy to melodious.Longplayer: "A Wild Ride" (2015) and "Side Effects Of Bad Medication" (summer 2018).
Album:
It can not be said that Hanoverian band Cannon is a total unknown on the German music market, as it laid the foundation for music-making thirty years ago. Although the international reputation does not match that of other rockers from the same city, the Messrs. Cannon can not be accused of losing their line nor are they allowed to attribute their lack of stamina. Also the RockTimer have dealt with the quartet over several publications, which the inclined reader can read in our archive. That the round appearing in the summer is called "Next Level", may be due to the new line-up, have survived from the original lineup but only lead guitarist Oliver Kruger and bassist Stephen Carrington the last three decades. Drummers Shawn Layer (for Walter Müller) and frontman Thomas Fallschessel (for Mat Rein Jaehnke) have been new to the line-up for around two years now, and there is no doubt that he also knows how to put some fresh accents into the vocals.Content, d. H. In terms of genre, Cannon sail in safe waters that can be typified roughly as melodic Hard Rock. Thus, nothing new on this level, they connect with the fourteen songs of the newcomer logically and quite seamlessly to Burning Love from 2012 on.The disc opens with a crisp track, "The Fortress", which is also - nomen est omen - like a fortress. Well chosen to catch the listener directly and curious about the other pieces. Well distributed over the next hour, some highlights stand out again and again. Crafted very clean, knotless produced with a clear and rich sound - that's what the Hard Rock fan wants it to be.But the guys can not only rock hard on the wave of the eighties. Some 'Power Metal attributes' sneak in and even Symphonic references leave some time. Subjectively, I would like to have a bit more pressure and speed in order to garnish the album with some speed (not high-speed!) Peaks a bit more diversified. But we're dealing with criticism in the higher level, because all the songs in these fifty-three minutes can be seen in a well-tried Cannon style, or better listened to. No question, purely by hand, that is anyway more than fine. Besides the opening track, "The King Will Come" or the "Children Of The Night" bouncer will be your first pick - it certainly will not be a disappointment. The four knows just how to make good, memorable composition to ensure that it is easy for the listener to stay with the pole. The next level in the band history is reached - end, off, applause!
