Perseus are born in 2010 from the ashes of two of the most historic and significant heavy metal band from Brindisi (Puglia, Southern Italy): Defenders Of The Faith Judas Priest Tribute Band and Hastings."Ashes to Ashes" first work of Perseus tries to balance the old school of heavy metal Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Manowar , and the most modern power metal as Rhapsody Of Fire Kamelot and Labyrinth.The Band produced a demo with three tracks plaied with intensity and groove; melodies that resonate in the head of the listener in a easy way, because of the easy vocal lines and the riffing so aggressive but, at the same time, melodic and somethimes romantic.Perseus is inspired by lyrical clichés of life: passion, suffering and love. The Brindisi Perseus returned to tell the course of the saga of Dr. Icarus Lazard, an ex-killer in the maturity gives a complete change in his life and retires to an island, where he founded the community of Emera where reign peace and harmony .
