Joker's IV (previously also known as Bad Joker's Cream) is a young hard/glam rock band which was formed in 2013 in Frýdek-Místek (Czech Republic). The band’s founfation is standing on hard-rock riffs of the 70’s and 80’s with a touch of modern rock and metal music. The strongest side of the band are their live shows which are full of energy and obvious shared harmony on stage. The band released an EP „First Cream“ followed by an LP „Behind The Mask“. In the near future the band is planning on introducing their sophomore album accompanied by singles and music videos. Bad Joker’s Cream find inspiration in bands of the 80’s, such as Mötley Crüe, Bon Jovi or Iron Maiden, but at the same time they find it within new era bands e. g. Kissin Dynamite, Steel Panther or H.E.A.T. The new album Pink World was released in 2023 and is produced by known swedish producer Per Aldeheim. We recently released a new single Be Alive with Bad Joker's Cream, which is a precursor to the long-gestating Pink World album. We can say that these preparations started sometime in 2016, just after the completion of the previous album. What we didn't know at the time was that the preparation, recording and completion would take over five years. And that's not the final number yet, because the whole album won't be released until 2022 at the earliest. But during this time, we've realized a lot of new contexts and at the same time learned from our mistakes.On the one hand, we were influenced by the line-up change, the reason was also the situation everywhere in the world, we know... but the real and most important hook is something else. We just felt that our previous album Behind The Mask didn't fulfil the potential it had and there were a lot of things that could have been done better. So, wanting not to repeat the mistakes of the previous album when making the new one, we started thinking about how to make the next album more competitive. But first, let's summarize the mistakes that every aspiring band makes and that we have made in the past.A striking piano dominates the melodic ballad We Can't Fight It. Together with the video, it was released by the Czech glam rock band Joker's IV and it is a track from the upcoming album Pink World. It's by the world-famous Swedish producer Per Aldeheim, who has long collaborated with Def Leppard. Due to the covid and limited travelling, the album was gradually created remotely. The new single is unique in that it is the band's first ballad and the boys sing about the inevitable break-up with a loved one.During the covid period, Joker's IV decided to use the time off from touring in their own way - they replaced the dysfunctional band members with new ones, whom they met with the same desire to go "all in" and together move up to the level of foreign bands. This is facilitated by the cooperation with a renowned producer, whom they managed to connect to even across closed borders. Most of the recording of the Pink World album was done remotely via remote access. Producer Per Aldheim even appears on the album as a vocalist.The theme of the new single is unhappy love. "We recorded this song in four days. Our goal was to sound like native speakers and not present the fans with a song with 'Czech English'. The break-up came to us as a topical issue, because if you want to succeed in music, and outdoors in general, you really have to sacrifice everything. Those who have found a love that can stand it should appreciate it, because it's not a given," the musicians specify.
