Saint Deamon was originally founded by former Dionysus drummer Ronny Millianovicz in 2006.The line-up was completed the year later with singer Jan Thore Grefstad (ex-Highland Glory), guitarist Toya Johansson (Bjurström) and bass player Nobby Noberg (ex-Dionysus).The band signed a worldwide deal with Frontiers Records that same year- which up until today resulted in two albums, ‚In Shadows Lost From The Brave‘ (2008) and ‚Pandeamonium‘ (2009). Extensive live appearances followed, with gigs all the way from North Cap down through Europe and the band also appeared on the prestigious “ProgPowerUSA” festival in Atlanta.After a longer quiet phase (which the band used to write new material and Saint Deamon is now moving forward strong with their new drummer Jarle Byberg (ex-Shining). The new album of Swedish/Norwegian melodic power metal band Saint Deamon - "League Of The Serpent" - offers a high-quality sound with individual touch, masterfully added progressive nuances and great, catchy compositions. No doubt: the effort, set for release on April 21 as a CD digipak and limited colored vinyl edition, will be one of 2023's genre highlights.Saint Deamon returns with the new album about three and a half years after their quasi comeback album "Ghost". It's well known that SD stands for an individual touch, which is often hard to find in this genre. "League Of The Serpent" clearly shows the great quality of vocal wonder Jan-Thore Grefstad, guitarist Toya Johansson, bass player Nobby Noberg (ex-Dionysus) and new drummer Alfred Fridhagen (Gaia Epicus). Tracks like the upbeat first single "At Break Of Dawn", the extremely catchy "Load Your Cannons" or the ear-pleasing melodic rocker "The Final Fight" are typical SD compositions. In addition the band skillfully incorporates progressive nuances and makes "League Of The Serpent" an album that will be one of the genre highlights in 2023.
