Formed in Nantes, France in 1996, WILD WEST is a Hard Rock Heavy Metal band.After finding a voice in the person of André Fuciarelli, the fledgling quartet locked themselves away in the studio to record their first album. Tinged with southern rock, "One" sold 1,500 copies in France but also in Germany and Japan. Wild West went on to tour extensively. The result: little time for a follow-up to the first opus, but also, and above all, a general weariness giving rise to an incessant change of personnel. This instability explains why the excellent and very hard FM 'Second to None' was only released in 2003. Same cause, same effect: two years on stage, the release of a live album recorded at a festival near Nantes and... the departure of André Fuciarelli after the release of the CD 'Live in the west' in 2005. A DVD is in preparation, but in 2008, nothing is released...
Nicolas Blaizeau - lead vocals - The musical history of little Nico begins at the age of..his birth.In fact, like some people who are brought up on bananas, he was brought up on Carlos (?!), Chantal Goya (?!?!) and later on Johnny Hallyday ( phew!!!).Besides, the first job he wanted to do when he grew up was to be an American singer on a podium (which was already a bad idea ;o) ). He started solfeggio at the age of 6 and a year later he started playing the electronic organ at .... (which leads to everything), which led him to play in a church and even to the final of the European Championship (please :-) ) in 1989.After that he stopped playing music because of his Baccalaureate. At the same time he started listening to bands like Mötley Crüe ( who? ), Bon Jovi, Scorpions, Skid Row, Iron Maiden, Aerosmith etc.....In December 1991 he finally decided to give in to his urge to place an ad to be a singer in a rock band, citing the references listed earlier. After two or three unsuccessful attempts, he was hired in a band called Minuit Dix, which already included a certain Ludo. This group only focused on covers of rock and hard rock standards, with success if we are to believe the number of concerts they gave at the time.Minuit Dix split in early 1994 and Ludo and Nico (accompanied by Minuit Dix's first rhythm guitarist, Franck) decided to start a new band called Bottoms Up, which remained in the same vein as Minuit Dix (but a bit harder) with a few more compositions.At the beginning of 1995, Ludo left to go to Nancy (see Ludo's Bio), Bottoms Up split up. Nico decides to start a new band with the bass player of Bottoms Up and Franck. The band will be called Positive, still remains in the same style and also composes.A few concerts later (in April 1996 to be precise) Positive split up. Fortunately, Ludo came back from Nancy at this time with his nice little diploma. Ludo, Nico and Franck decide to put Minuit Dix back together. This meeting will last until November 2001 (with in particular the arrival of Seb as drummer of the group and the first part of Dyslesia in October 2001) date at which everyone realizes that the motivation is not the same for everyone.
