A gritty group of misfits from Vienna, Mädhouse pumps out the real deal every. single. time. When 18 random rockers got together at the end of 2017 to put on a show called “Hard N’ Heavy” just for kicks, nobody thought a new band would be born. That gig ended up being such a blast that eight of them decided to keep jamming together. A few weeks later, they wrote their first song— appropriately “Hard N’ Heavy” —inspired by the epic night that brought them together. At that point they didn’t have a masterplan, or even a name for themselves, but they knew without a doubt they had all the parts to make a great RnR band. More importantly, they had that spark and just enough crazy among them to know it was legit. It took a few more months with some growing pains along the way to get it together and solidify a band of five. They may not have set out to become Mädhouse, but here we are. Whether it was hair metal destiny or some other twist of glam fate is hard to say. What is clear is that for them; it’s about the music and their shared love of cranking out original, quality, ass-kicking rock.

Austrian Sleazy/Hair Metal band of MÄDHOUSE is back in business with its third, already, full-length opus entitled "Down 'n' Dirty". The new record is going to be released through Roar! Rock Of Angels Records this July!To be honest, I have never heard any previous work from these guys till' now; and, to be honest, I was first blown away from the album's opening huge and loud as f&*k tune of "Down 'n' Dirty"!!! This song is just pure, excellent and in-your-face classic Hair Metal hymn out of this scene's glory dayz!! "Hard Luck" is again another kick-ass with a big nasty groove tune that must be played on a maximum volume while in "Passionkiller" we have totally classic Skid Row-esque track and, of course, yet another killer song out of the new effort! In "Horrorwood", the much heavier "Kung Fu Holidays" and "Much II Much" you are gonna get a big, bad and full of attitude dose of good an' old-fashioned Hair Metal stuff at its highest order!! I also loved the song that closes this new opus; "Antihero". A fast-paced heavy rock gem that takes no prisoners with its attitude, power and big chorus line!! For the fans of the classic Hair Metal/Hard Rock scene of the 80's, early 90's, this is a mandatory release!!! A big, loud and full of attitude record that must be played on 10!!! Great!!!
