Carnival Of Thieves were formed by Andi Stevenson and come from Rotherham in the North of England.The music is a blend of Hard Rock, Stoner Rock & Seminal Punk also influenced by many sub genres of Rock from the late 60's onwards. So far we've released 4 albums. Our new album Den Of Thieves (ReVamped) was released to all online streaming services on Monday 4th April, 2021. It includes 15 songs plus 14 bonus songs. We have plans to release it as a Double album on CD/Vinyl as soon as we have the budget for it. We are currently working on a new album called "Scallywags" which is about 75% completed and we will look to release this in July/August later this year.ALBUMS: Welcome To The Carnival Roll Up! "It's a completely self-funded album and it took a lot of time, effort and money from our own pockets to create it. We originally released it back in March 2014, but we weren't happy with the results. The recording was very rushed as we didn't have much money to pay for the recordings. The result was that we decided to re-record a lot of the gaian parts at home, as well as remix and remaster ourselves.The biggest compliment we received about this album was in a review where the reviewer said something like, "Carnival Of Thieves sound like no other rock band in the world, but at the same time they sound like any great rock band you have ever heard!" This is probably due to the sheer number of influences that have influenced the writing of this album over the last 50 years: Rock, Punk, Alternative Rock, Electro-Rock, Progressive Rock, Gothic Rock, Blues Rock, Folk Rock and New Wave / Indie Rock. Then add to that everyone's individual influences when playing their parts and it gave us a pretty unique album that we were really happy with.To name just a few who influenced this album: Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Cream, Ultravox! The Ruts, The Stranglers, The Skids, Lords Of The New Church, New Model Army, The Mission, The Chameleons, The Cure (79-83), Gun, The Levellers, The Cult, Alice In Chains, Metallica, QOTSA, The Hellacopters, The Lime Spiders, RATM, Ayreon, Audioslave, Type O Negative, Mark Lunnegan, Hanoi Rocks, Sisters of Mercy, The Doors, Ghost, Halestorm, The Godfathers, Clutch, Five Finger Death Punch, Rival Sons, Blues Saraceno, Monster Truck, Greenleaf, Danzig and many others. However, the biggest influence would undoubtedly be the English punk band The Ruts and their amazing album The Crack.All in all, it made us proud of ourselves.
