BASTET is a new band born in 2019.At the beginning it was a side project of Gengis Khan guitarist Mike Petrone .With the arrival of Nico Gilli at the voice and the collaboration of Fabio Alessandrini and Frank Leone this project turn into a real band.“NEWS FROM HELL”is the first album of BASTET,it has been produced at DOMINATIONS STUDIOS by Simone Mularoni(who also played bass on the record.BASTET is Nicoletta GILLI (Vocals) ex NASTY TENDENCY, Mike PETRONE (Guitars) ex VESCERA, NITEHAWKS and actual GENGIS KHAN!As guest on the whole album, Fabio ALESSANDRINI (drums) actually with ANNIHILATOR and Simone MULARONI (Bass) actual DGM guitarist + producer.10 songs that will blow you minds ! BASTET's heavy metal, based on sharp riffs, is in the great tradition of the genre. Melodic and massive, the Italians have built their first eponymous album on heady compositions, federative choruses and a guitar playing full of feeling. Composed of more than seasoned musicians, the quartet produces an opus full of class.If you're a fan of racy, fast-paced heavy metal, BASTET won't disappoint you. The Italians deliver their self-titled debut album and if it sounds so good, it's not completely by chance. What started out as a side project for guitarist Mike Petrone (Genghis Khan) quickly took on the form of a band with some choice musicians.Behind the microphone, we find frontwoman Nico Gilli (ex-Nasty Tendency) whose vocal power forcefully guides this first opus in a register reminiscent of Leather Leone and Doro in its aggressiveness. And the two permanent members of BASTET have benefited from the considerable contribution of an infallible rhythm section, which offers a formidable energy and impact.On bass, Simone Mularoni (DGM's guitarist who also produced the album) gives the change to Fabio Alessandrini (Annihilator's drummer) to form an explosive duo. On incisive, melodic and slightly Old School compositions, BASTET keeps the flame of an eternal Heavy Metal alive ("Lights Out", "Anger In Your Eyes", "News From Hell", "Beyond The Fight", "Masquerade").
