Formed in 2011 in the Asturias region of Spain, LAST DAYS OF EDEN started out as a studio project to explore new musical paths for Dani G. (DarkSun) and Ani M. Fojaco (soprano and studio singer) combining symphonic, power, and folk metal elements, with influences from such acts as NIGHTWISH, EPICA, WITHIN TEMPTATION, and ELUVEITIE. In 2014 drummer Manu Morán, bassist Adrián Huelga, keyboardist Juan Gómez, and bagpiper Gustavo Rodríguez were added to complete the lineup. Soon after, the band went into the studio to record their debut EP, “Paradise.”In support of the EP’s release, LAST DAYS OF EDEN began playing live as a headliner in the best venues of the region, as well as being the opening band for shows by UDO, DEVIL’S TRAIN, and ANETTE OLZON.Now in 2015 LAST DAYS OF EDEN are preparing to record their debut full-length album, which will feature new drummer Alberto Ardines (ex-WARCRY, ex-AVALANCH).

The last days in paradise are not yet to come. Prior to this, Spanish act Last Days Of Eden presents the new album "Butterflies" through El Puerto Records. And the band delivers a truly fascinating magical sound on this third album, that can absolutely stand in the forefront with the big ones of the scene. If bands like Nightwish or Within Temptation are among your favourites, you can definitely look forward to this firework of symphonic metal art, called "Butterflies". Furthermore, the additional folk influences are much more than a creative idea. For Last Days Of Eden, who are from the Spanish-Celtic area Asturias, it is part of the mentality. With nativeness and authenticity, the songs sound like an epic soundtrack with the easiness of a 'butterfly' and the intensity of a whole Wagner orchestra.
